One of the charity organizations that the Flickinger Legal Group works closely with is called the Make It Fit Foundation. The Make It Fit Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Columbus, Ohio founded by Mike Hoover. The organization has many goals, but you will find on their website that,
“Our mission is to develop and maintain a community of caring, unified, and knowledgeable individuals dedicated to raising money for autism research, treatment, advocacy, education, and family services until there’s an end to autism as we know it.”
The symbol of the Make It Fit Foundation is a puzzle piece, which has ultimately become the symbol for autism awareness. The goal of The Make It Fit Foundation is to,
“fit the missing pieces together to help bring about more research, better treatment, and someday hopefully a cure for autism.”
