This machine was built to withstand some serious heat! Scot Harden rode this KTM 660 during the 2005 Dakar Rally. The motorcycle was designed for one thing: go very fast across massive swaths of sand in excruciatingly warm temperatures. The race spanned 5,565 miles; riders began in Barcelona, traveling through Morocco, Mauritania and Mali before ending at Dakar in Senegal.
