Front license plates– to have them or not? Does anyone know? Well, the legislation to remove the requirement for all Ohio vehicles to not have front license plates has failed to leave the House committee. The proposal by Representative Alicia Reece (D) was created because she believes that the front license plate “unfairly subjects citizens to police scrutiny” and leads to “negative interactions with law enforcement.” Of note, front license plates cost taxpayers $1.4 million a year.
