A firefighter went into a gym early in the morning on 9/11/16 and asked if he could use a stair machine. He explained he wanted to walk 110 sets of stairs in full gear to honor his fallen comrades. The gym staff of course said it was fine. Gym attendant Lezlie Bauler snapped this photo as he started.
