The Lube & FLG

Quaker Steak and Lube, known for its variety of wing sauces and eclectic decorating style, has dozens of stores spread across the fifty states. In Columbus, Ohio, from the months of May through October, one will also find a myriad of individuals among the plethora of wing sauces! The reason being: bike night!

Bike night is the melting pot of social attractions. Scattered among the masses are the young and old, the leather-covered, pony tailed, stereotypical biker man, and most notably, the Flickinger Legal Group.

Why might a personal injury law firm find themselves among such a diverse group of people? Well, the Flickinger Legal Group and motorcycles go together like white on rice or peanut butter and jelly! Attorney Russ Flickinger began riding 30 years ago, and in that time, has completed not only one, but two Hoka Heys. For those unaware, the Hoka Hey is a competitive race in which riders compete for half a million dollars and must ride for thousands of miles over the course of weeks. Participants risk sleep deprivation and extreme weather conditions, compounded exponentially with the normal risks associated with riding!

To no surprise, this dedication stayed in the family with Attorney Justin Flickinger, who grew up attending motorcycle shows with his father. Justin now owns a Boulevard Suzuki 650 and actively rides whenever he finds time out of the office.

Thus, when it came time to expand the FLG business, Russ and Justin agreed there was no better way to spend their time and money than in the motorcycle community. The Quaker Steak and Lube weekly bike nights offered an opportunity to do just that. Though we at the Flickinger Legal Group never want a fellow rider to be injured or in an accident, the sad reality we are faced with day-to-day thrusts such problems upon us. In such events, the members at FLG want to assist, guide, and protect our fellow bikers in any and all predicaments they may face. With over 35 years of experience practicing law, Russ Flickinger has the knowledge and resources necessary to handle any case brought to him; he has set a tremendous example for his son, Justin, who over the last 5 years has been developing his skills.
