Today was a huge day in my son’s life.
14 years ago at the age of 2, he could suddenly no longer speak, no longer look you in the eyes, no longer could stand to be held or hugged, no longer stand noises, etc. He had disappeared deep into autism. With the help of a lot of great people, he’s fought his way out ever since.
Today, he took his Driver’s License Test.
Today, he made a huge leap toward independence.
